Last updated October 10, 2026. By using PHL Events, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose.
PHL Events is a Philadelphia events calendar and website. It collects events from local venues, organizers, and public websites and social media accounts into one place, as a Google Calendar and as this website. PHL Events is run by one person, and "I" and "me" in these terms mean the person who runs it.
PHL Events doesn't host, organize, sponsor, or sell tickets to any of the events on the calendar. It's an aggregator. The venues and hosts behind each event are the ones responsible for what happens there, including safety, accessibility, admission, pricing, refunds, and how attendees are treated. Listing an event isn't an endorsement of it or of its host.
I do my best to keep the calendar accurate, but I can't promise it is. Please keep these in mind:
Always check the host's Instagram or website for updates before you head to an event. The calendar is a starting point, not a guarantee. The calendar is also curated. It's a hand-picked selection, not a listing of every single event happening in Philly, so some events won't appear on it.
You attend events at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not responsible for anything that happens at or on the way to an event, including injury, loss, illness, cost, or disappointment, or for the conduct of hosts, venues, or other attendees.
If you have a bad interaction with a host, I'd like to hear about it. Email me at [email protected]. I don't want to do free promotional work for hosts who are rude to members of this community, and I may remove a host's events from the calendar. I can't resolve disputes between you and a host, but I do take reports seriously.
Access to the calendar and the subscriber website requires an active paid subscription. Your account is personal to you. Please don't share your login or your calendar link with people who haven't subscribed. You're responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has gotten into it, let me know.
Everything behind the login, including the event listings, venue details, photos, and any other data the site returns to your account, is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't:
I monitor account activity for automated or bulk-access patterns. An account found scraping or redistributing site content may be suspended or terminated without a refund, and I reserve the right to pursue any other remedy available to me, including under applicable computer-misuse and copyright law.
The way the calendar is put together, along with the site's design, writing, and original content, belongs to PHL Events. Event names, descriptions, images, logos, and other material that comes from hosts and venues belong to them. If you're a host or rights holder and want something corrected or removed, email me and I'll take care of it promptly.
PHL Events relies on services I don't control, including Google Calendar, Stripe, and the websites and social accounts events are collected from. The site links to host pages, ticketing sites, and social accounts. I'm not responsible for their content, availability, or policies, and a problem with one of them may affect how the calendar or site works.
PHL Events is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. I don't promise that the calendar or site will always be available, error-free, or complete, or that events will appear in your calendar by any particular time. I may change, pause, or discontinue features, or the service as a whole, at any time. If I discontinue the service, I'll stop billing you and won't charge you for time after that point.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of PHL Events, such as the cost of a missed, canceled, or rescheduled event, or for any event details that turn out to be wrong. My total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law lets them.
You can stop using PHL Events at any time by canceling your subscription. I may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, with or without notice, depending on the situation.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be worked out informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Before anything formal, please email me first. Most issues can be sorted out that way.
I may update these terms as the site changes. The "last updated" date at the top shows when. If a change is significant, I'll let subscribers know by email or on the site. Continuing to use PHL Events after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Questions, corrections, takedown requests, or feedback about a host? I'd love to hear from you.
